Augusta, ME Consolidated Courthouse

In Augusta, the Superior Court currently resides in an historic early 19th century granite courthouse, down State Street from the State Capitol building.  The District Court is currently housed in a non-descript 1960's era building, and the Family Court is currently in leased space. RicciGreene developed a consolidated court facility to accommodate all three court branches.  The program calls for an efficient and flexible plan to consolidate functions and support spaces, with courtrooms allocated by the type needed rather than by court division.
