Currently under construction, this 65,000 SF addition and renovation to the existing three-story Bennington State Office building provides the state of Vermont with four new modern courtrooms (three with direct natural light) and state of the art security and energy efficient design features. RicciGreene was responsible for the conceptual analysis, space planning, program validation, schematic design and interior architecture for design development and constructions documents.

RicciGreene worked closely with William Maclay Architects to provide a sustainable (LEED Silver) design that met all the user's needs and met a tight budget and design schedule. The design was close to $800,000, under budget which afforded the state to upgrade on essential energy saving alternates, and operational features that will well serve the building occupants for the years to come. The General Contractor is DEW Construction; the construction cost is estimated at $12.8 million.
